RF-VoID: Towards Bandwidth-Efficient Exterior Tile Void Detection via Narrowband Radio-Frequency Representation Learning

arXiv:2609.12388v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Hidden debonding behind exterior ceramic tiles is a falling-tile hazard, and millimeter-wave radar offers a non-contact way to find it. Conventional interpretation first reconstructs a range profile, so its reliability is bounded by the available bandwidth, yet bandwidth is what sets the cost, the acquisition time, and the regulatory footprint of a deployed system. This work asks whether that bandwidth can be traded for computation. A 4-40 GHz stepped-frequency system scans twelve exterior-wall specimens containing 0.5-1.0 mm air voids at different depths and interfaces, and the bandwidth dependence of A-scan, B-scan, and C-scan interpretation is analyzed to establish the resolution bound. RF-VoID is then proposed, which decides directly on the narrowband complex response: the sub-band is kept in its measured frequency order with amplitude and phase alongside the in-phase and quadrature channels, a dual-branch encoder reads it along the physical frequency axis using relative position encoding and a distance-dependent locality bias, and an inspection-oriented objective handles the class imbalance and the asymmetric error cost of facade screening. Under a mixed-sample protocol the method attains 98.61% accuracy and a 95.84% F1-score with 0.5 GHz of bandwidth, a seventy-two-fold reduction relative to the full sweep, without range-profile reconstruction, deconvolution, or depth-slice selection; on specimens held out entirely from training it remains the strongest of the compared models, with a mean macro F1-score of 62.12% at 0.5 GHz that rises to 68.57% at 1 GHz.

RDEx-CMOP: Feasibility-Aware Indicator-Guided Differential Evolution for Fixed-Budget Constrained Multiobjective Optimization

arXiv:2604.03708v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Constrained multiobjective optimisation requires fast feasibility attainment together with stable convergence and diversity preservation under strict evaluation budgets. This report documents RDEx-CMOP, the differential evolution variant used in the IEEE CEC 2025 numerical optimisation competition (C06 special session) constrained multiobjective track. RDEx-CMOP integrates an {\epsilon}-level feasibility schedule, a SPEA2-style indicator-driven fitness assignment, and a fitness-oriented current-to-pbest/1 mutation operator. We evaluate RDEx-CMOP on the official CEC 2025 CMOP benchmark using the median-target U-score framework and the released trace data. Experimental results show that RDEx-CMOP achieves the highest total score and the best overall average rank among all released comparison algorithms, with strong target-attainment behaviour and near-zero final violation on most problems.

Hybrid Quantum-Classical Spatiotemporal Forecasting for 3D Cloud Fields

arXiv:2603.29407v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Accurate forecasting of three-dimensional (3D) cloud fields is important for atmospheric analysis and short-range numerical weather prediction, yet it remains challenging because cloud evolution involves cross-layer interactions, nonlocal dependencies, and multiscale spatiotemporal dynamics. Existing spatiotemporal prediction models based on convolutions, recurrence, or attention often rely on locality-biased representations and therefore struggle to preserve fine cloud structures in volumetric forecasting tasks. To address this issue, we propose QENO, a hybrid quantum-inspired spatiotemporal forecasting framework for 3D cloud fields. The proposed architecture consists of four components: a classical spatiotemporal encoder for compact latent representation, a topology-aware quantum enhancement block for modeling nonlocal couplings in latent space, a dynamic fusion temporal unit for integrating measurement-derived quantum features with recurrent memory, and a decoder for reconstructing future cloud volumes. Experiments on CMA-MESO 3D cloud fields show that QENO consistently outperforms representative baselines, including ConvLSTM, PredRNN++, Earthformer, TAU, and SimVP variants, in terms of MSE, MAE, RMSE, SSIM, and threshold-based detection metrics. In particular, QENO achieves an MSE of 0.2038, an RMSE of 0.4514, and an SSIM of 0.6291, while also maintaining a compact parameter budget. These results indicate that topology-aware hybrid quantum-classical feature modeling is a promising direction for 3D cloud structure forecasting and atmospheric Earth observation data analysis.

Obscure but Effective: Classical Chinese Jailbreak Prompt Optimization via Bio-Inspired Search

arXiv:2602.22983v3 Announce Type: replace Abstract: As Large Language Models (LLMs) are increasingly used, their security risks have drawn increasing attention. Existing research reveals that LLMs are highly susceptible to jailbreak attacks, with effectiveness varying across language contexts. This paper investigates the role of classical Chinese in jailbreak attacks. Owing to its conciseness and obscurity, classical Chinese can partially bypass existing safety constraints, exposing notable vulnerabilities in LLMs. Based on this observation, this paper proposes a framework, CC-BOS, for the automatic generation of classical Chinese adversarial prompts based on multi-dimensional fruit fly optimization, facilitating efficient and automated jailbreak attacks in black-box settings. Prompts are encoded into eight policy dimensions-covering role, behavior, mechanism, metaphor, expression, knowledge, trigger pattern and context; and iteratively refined via smell search, visual search, and cauchy mutation. This design enables efficient exploration of the search space, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of black-box jailbreak attacks. To enhance readability and evaluation accuracy, we further design a classical Chinese to English translation module. Extensive experiments demonstrate that effectiveness of the proposed CC-BOS, consistently outperforming state-of-the-art jailbreak attack methods.

Yo'City: Personalized and Boundless 3D Realistic City Scene Generation via Self-Critic Expansion

arXiv:2511.18734v3 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Realistic 3D city generation is fundamental to a wide range of applications, including virtual reality and digital twins. However, most existing methods rely on training a single diffusion model, which limits their ability to generate personalized and boundless city-scale scenes. In this paper, we present Yo'City, a novel agentic framework that enables user-customized and infinitely expandable 3D city generation by leveraging the reasoning and compositional capabilities of off-the-shelf large models. Specifically, Yo'City first conceptualizes the city through a top-down planning strategy that defines a hierarchical "City-District-Grid" structure. The Global Planner determines the overall layout and potential functional districts, while the Local Designer further refines each district with detailed grid-level descriptions. Subsequently, the grid-level 3D generation is achieved through a "produce-refine-evaluate" isometric image synthesis loop, followed by image-to-3D generation. To simulate continuous city evolution, Yo'City further introduces a user-interactive, relationship-guided expansion mechanism, which performs scene graph-based distance- and semantics-aware layout optimization, ensuring spatially coherent city growth. To comprehensively evaluate our method, we construct a diverse benchmark dataset and design six multi-dimensional metrics that assess generation quality from the perspectives of semantics, geometry, texture, and layout. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Yo'City consistently outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods across all evaluation aspects.

PROSPECT: Unified Streaming Vision-Language Navigation via Semantic--Spatial Fusion and Latent Predictive Representation

arXiv:2603.03739v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) have advanced zero-shot end-to-end Vision-Language Navigation (VLN), yet robust navigation requires not only semantic understanding but also predictive modeling of environment dynamics and spatial structure. We propose PROSPECT, a unified streaming navigation agent that couples a streaming Vision-Language-Action (VLA) policy with latent predictive representation learning. PROSPECT uses CUT3R as a streaming 3D foundation spatial encoder to produce long-context, absolute-scale spatial features, and fuses them with SigLIP semantic features via cross-attention. During training, we introduce learnable stream query tokens that query the streaming context and predict next-step 2D and 3D latent features (rather than pixels or explicit modalities), supervised in the latent spaces of frozen SigLIP and CUT3R teachers. The predictive branch shapes internal representations without inference overhead. Experiments on VLN-CE benchmarks and real-robot deployment demonstrate state-of-the-art performance and improved long-horizon robustness under diverse lighting. We will release code for the community soon.
