City Editing: Hierarchical Agentic Execution for Dependency-Aware Urban Geospatial Modification

arXiv:2602.19326v3 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Urban renewal requires incremental modifications to existing geospatial plans, yet manually updating complex layouts under spatial constraints is labor-intensive and error-prone. To tackle this, we propose CEAE, a hierarchical agentic framework that formulates urban renewal as machine-executable GeoJSON editing from natural-language instructions. CEAE decomposes instructions into hierarchical geometric intents, executing edits from coarse to fine while preserving spatial consistency through a self-reflective execution-validation loop. Experimental results show that CEAE outperforms baselines in execution validity, robustness, and geometric accuracy.

BIRD-INTERACT: Re-imagining Text-to-SQL Evaluation for Large Language Models via Lens of Dynamic Interactions

arXiv:2510.05318v3 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Large language models (LLMs) have demonstrated remarkable performance on single-turn text-to-SQL tasks, but real-world database applications predominantly require multi-turn interactions to handle ambiguous queries, execution errors, and evolving user requirements. Existing multi-turn benchmarks fall short by treating conversation histories as static context or limiting evaluation to read-only operations, failing to reflect production-grade database assistant challenges. We introduce BIRD-INTERACT, a benchmark that restores this realism through: (1) a comprehensive interaction environment coupling each database with a hierarchical knowledge base, metadata files, and a function-driven user simulator, enabling models to solicit clarifications, retrieve knowledge, and recover from errors without human supervision; (2) two evaluation settings consisting of a pre-defined conversational protocol (c-Interact) and an open-ended agentic setting (a-Interact) where models autonomously decide when to query the user simulator or explore the environment; (3) a challenging task suite covering the full CRUD spectrum for business-intelligence and operational use cases, guarded by executable test cases. Each task features ambiguous and follow-up sub-tasks requiring dynamic interaction. The suite comprises BIRD-INTERACT-FULL (600 tasks, up to 11,796 interactions) for comprehensive performance assessment, and BIRD-INTERACT-LITE (300 tasks with simplified databases) for detailed behavioral analysis and rapid method development. Our empirical results highlight BIRD-INTERACT's difficulty: GPT-5 completes only 8.67% of tasks in c-Interact and 17.00% in a-Interact. Analysis via memory grafting and Interaction Test-time Scaling validates the importance of effective interaction for complex, dynamic text-to-SQL tasks.

Intelligent Pathological Diagnosis of Gestational Trophoblastic Diseases via Visual-Language Deep Learning Model

arXiv:2603.02704v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: The pathological diagnosis of gestational trophoblastic disease(GTD) takes a long time, relies heavily on the experience of pathologists, and the consistency of initial diagnosis is low, which seriously threatens maternal health and reproductive outcomes. We developed an expert model for GTD pathological diagnosis, named GTDoctor. GTDoctor can perform pixel-based lesion segmentation on pathological slides, and output diagnostic conclusions and personalized pathological analysis results. We developed a software system, GTDiagnosis, based on this technology and conducted clinical trials. The retrospective results demonstrated that GTDiagnosis achieved a mean precision of over 0.91 for lesion detection in pathological slides (n=679 slides). In prospective studies, pathologists using GTDiagnosis attained a Positive Predictive Value of 95.59% (n=68 patients). The tool reduced average diagnostic time from 56 to 16 seconds per case (n=285 patients). GTDoctor and GTDiagnosis offer a novel solution for GTD pathological diagnosis, enhancing diagnostic performance and efficiency while maintaining clinical interpretability.

City Editing: Hierarchical Agentic Execution for Dependency-Aware Urban Geospatial Modification

arXiv:2602.19326v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: As cities evolve over time, challenges such as traffic congestion and functional imbalance increasingly necessitate urban renewal through efficient modification of existing plans, rather than complete re-planning. In practice, even minor urban changes require substantial manual effort to redraw geospatial layouts, slowing the iterative planning and decision-making procedure. Motivated by recent advances in agentic systems and multimodal reasoning, we formulate urban renewal as a machine-executable task that iteratively modifies existing urban plans represented in structured geospatial formats. More specifically, we represent urban layouts using GeoJSON and decompose natural-language editing instructions into hierarchical geometric intents spanning polygon-, line-, and point-level operations. To coordinate interdependent edits across spatial elements and abstraction levels, we propose a hierarchical agentic framework that jointly performs multi-level planning and execution with explicit propagation of intermediate spatial constraints. We further introduce an iterative execution-validation mechanism that mitigates error accumulation and enforces global spatial consistency during multi-step editing. Extensive experiments across diverse urban editing scenarios demonstrate significant improvements in efficiency, robustness, correctness, and spatial validity over existing baselines.
