ART: Adaptive Relational Transformer for Pedestrian Trajectory Prediction with Temporal-Aware Relations
arXiv:2604.03649v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Accurate prediction of real-world pedestrian trajectories is crucial for a wide range of robot-related applications. Recent approaches typically adopt graph-based or transformer-based frameworks to model interactions. Despite their effectiveness, these methods either introduce unnecessary computational overhead or struggle to represent the diverse and time-varying characteristics of human interactions. In this work, we present an Adaptive Relati

LLMs Judge Themselves: A Game-Theoretic Framework for Human-Aligned Evaluation
arXiv:2510.15746v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Ideal or real - that is the question. In this work, we explore whether principles from game theory can be effectively applied to the evaluation of large language models (LLMs). This inquiry is motivated by the growing inadequacy of conventional evaluation practices, which often rely on fixed-format tasks with reference answers and struggle to capture the nuanced, subjective, and open-ended nature of modern LLM behavior. To address these c

Catgut implantation at acupoints improves anti-PD-1 inhibitor efficacy in lung cancer by inducing immune responses and remodeling the tumor microenvironment

ABSTRACT
While anti-programmed death-1 (anti-PD-1) therapy has revolutionized lung cancer treatment, its efficacy remains limited by an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME). We therefore investigated whether combining anti-PD-1 inhibitor with catgut embedding at the Zusanli acupoint (CIAA) could enhance anti-tumor immunity by reprogramming the TME in a lung cancer mouse model. Combining in vivo tumor monitoring, multi-parametric immune profiling (flow cytometry, IHC, ELISA), and multi-omics analyses (transcriptomics and metabolomics), we found that the combination therapy was associated with enhanced tumor growth inhibition. This effect correlated with a comprehensive TME transformation: conversion to an immunologically active state with increased effector immune cell infiltration (CD8⁺ T, CD4⁺ T, B cells, macrophages) and decreased regulatory T cells, coupled with suppression of pro-tumorigenic factors (VEGF, IL-6). Integrated omics analysis suggests that the combined treatment may modulate tumor-stroma interaction pathways (e.g., PI3K-Akt, focal adhesion) and rewire immunometabolic networks (e.g., tryptophan metabolism). Our study provides hypothesis-generating correlative data positioning CIAA as a potential adjunct capable of remodeling the TME to potentiate anti-PD-1 therapy in lung cancer.

Multimodal AI for Alzheimer Disease Diagnosis: Systematic Review of Datasets, Models, and Modalities
Background: Early detection of Alzheimer disease (AD) is essential for timely intervention; yet, diagnostic performance varies widely across modalities and datasets. Recent multimodal artificial intelligence (AI) models have made significant progress, but the evidence base remains fragmented due to heterogeneous datasets, modeling frameworks, and reporting quality. Objective: This systematic review aimed to analyze studies on multimodal AI models for AD diagnosis, prognosis, and risk prediction

Can LLM Agents Generate Real-World Evidence? Evaluating Observational Studies in Medical Databases
arXiv:2603.22767v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Observational studies can yield clinically actionable evidence at scale, but executing them on real-world databases is open-ended and requires coherent decisions across cohort construction, analysis, and reporting. Prior evaluations of LLM agents emphasize isolated steps or single answers, missing the integrity and internal structure of the resulting evidence bundle. To address this gap, we introduce RWE-bench, a benchmark grounded in MIMIC-IV and

ShotFinder: Imagination-Driven Open-Domain Video Shot Retrieval via Web Search
arXiv:2601.23232v3 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: In recent years, large language models (LLMs) have made rapid progress in information retrieval, yet existing research has mainly focused on text or static multimodal settings. Open-domain video shot retrieval, which involves richer temporal structure and more complex semantics, still lacks systematic benchmarks and analysis. To fill this gap, we introduce ShotFinder, a benchmark that formalizes editing requirements as keyframe-oriented
