Inhaled nanosilica orchestrates a pulmonary macrophage-NK cell axis for memory-like NK programming toward synergistic cancer immunotherapy
Yuan and colleagues demonstrate that inhaled biodegradable nanosilica activates an alveolar macrophage–NK axis, triggering an IL-12/15/18 triad that programs memory-like NK cells. This non-fibrotic, cell-free strategy suppresses melanoma growth, prevents postsurgical recurrence, and synergizes with anti-PD-1, establishing a robust framework for in vivo NK cell immunotherapy.

RiLM: Parameter-Efficient Language Modeling via Geodesic Decoding
arXiv:2609.10305v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Language models under one million parameters matter for edge deployment, domain adaptation, and reproducible research, yet a two-layer LSTM or Transformer at embedding width d = 128 still spends roughly one third of its capacity on the output matrix W_out in R^(d x |V|). We propose Riemannian Language Models (RiLM), which remove that layer entirely: context unfolds as a trajectory on a Riemannian manifold, and next-token probabilities arise from

Stabilizing Unsupervised Self-Evolution of MLLMs via Continuous Softened Retracing reSampling

However, existing self-evolution methods predominantly rely on majority voting to select the most frequent output as the pseudo-golden answer, which may stem from the model's intrinsic biases rather than guaranteeing the objective correctness of the reasoning paths. ABSTRACT
Pulmonary fibrosis represents a progressive interstitial lung disease marked by excessive extracellular matrix deposition and architectural distortion. Vascular endothelial cells critically contribute to fibrogenesis through paracrine secretion of pro-fibrotic mediators, yet their mechanobiological regulation remains elusive. Using integrated single-cell multi-omics profiling of human pulmonary fibrosis specimens and experimental fibrosis models induced by bleomycin or silica, we identify mechanosensitive Piezo1 upregulation in Endothelial cells as a hallmark of fibrotic progression. Endothelial-specific Piezo1 knockout significantly attenuates Bleomycin-induced fibrotic remodeling in male mice, establishing its pathogenic necessity. Mechanistically, PIEZO1 activation promotes pulmonary fibrosis development via CAPN2-mediated STAT3 phosphorylation, which may regulate the secretion of the pro-fibrotic molecule interleukin-33. These findings suggest that the endothelial PIEZO1-CAPN2-STAT3-IL33 axis is a potential therapeutic target for PF intervention.

LycheeCluster: Efficient Long-Context Inference with Structure-Aware Chunking and Hierarchical KV Indexing
arXiv:2603.08453v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: The quadratic complexity of the attention mechanism and the substantial memory footprint of the Key-Value (KV) cache present severe computational and memory challenges for Large Language Models (LLMs) processing long contexts. Existing retrieval-based methods often compromise semantic integrity through fixed-size chunking and suffer from inefficient linear scanning. In this paper, we propose LycheeCluster, a novel method for efficient KV cache m

Towards Effective and Efficient Graph Alignment without Supervision
arXiv:2603.08526v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Unsupervised graph alignment aims to find the node correspondence across different graphs without any anchor node pairs. Despite the recent efforts utilizing deep learning-based techniques, such as the embedding and optimal transport (OT)-based approaches, we observe their limitations in terms of model accuracy-efficiency tradeoff. By focusing on the exploitation of local and global graph information, we formalize them as the ``local representat
