ROSClaw: A Hierarchical Semantic-Physical Framework for Heterogeneous Multi-Agent Collaboration

arXiv:2604.04664v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: The integration of large language models (LLMs) with embodied agents has improved high-level reasoning capabilities; however, a critical gap remains between semantic understanding and physical execution. While vision-language-action (VLA) and vision-language-navigation (VLN) systems enable robots to perform manipulation and navigation tasks from natural language instructions, they still struggle with long-horizon sequential and temporally structured tasks. Existing frameworks typically adopt modular pipelines for data collection, skill training, and policy deployment, resulting in high costs in experimental validation and policy optimization. To address these limitations, we propose ROSClaw, an agent framework for heterogeneous robots that integrates policy learning and task execution within a unified vision-language model (VLM) controller. The framework leverages e-URDF representations of heterogeneous robots as physical constraints to construct a sim-to-real topological mapping, enabling real-time access to the physical states of both simulated and real-world agents. We further incorporate a data collection and state accumulation mechanism that stores robot states, multimodal observations, and execution trajectories during real-world execution, enabling subsequent iterative policy optimization. During deployment, a unified agent maintains semantic continuity between reasoning and execution, and dynamically assigns task-specific control to different agents, thereby improving robustness in multi-policy execution. By establishing an autonomous closed-loop framework, ROSClaw minimizes the reliance on robot-specific development workflows. The framework supports hardware-level validation, automated generation of SDK-level control programs, and tool-based execution, enabling rapid cross-platform transfer and continual improvement of robotic skills. RAE-AR: Taming Autoregressive Models with Representation Autoencoders

arXiv:2604.01545v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: The latent space of generative modeling is long dominated by the VAE encoder. The latents from the pretrained representation encoders (e.g., DINO, SigLIP, MAE) are previously considered inappropriate for generative modeling. Recently, RAE method lights the hope and reveals that the representation autoencoder can also achieve competitive performance as the VAE encoder. However, the integration of representation autoencoder into continuous autoregressive (AR) models, remains largely unexplored. In this work, we investigate the challenges of employing high-dimensional representation autoencoders within the AR paradigm, denoted as \textit{RAE-AR}. We focus on the unique properties of AR models and identify two primary hurdles: complex token-wise distribution modeling and the high-dimensionality amplified training-inference gap (exposure bias). To address these, we introduce token simplification via distribution normalization to ease modeling difficulty and improve convergence. Furthermore, we enhance prediction robustness by incorporating Gaussian noise injection during training to mitigate exposure bias. Our empirical results demonstrate that these modifications substantially bridge the performance gap, enabling representation autoencoder to achieve results comparable to traditional VAEs on AR models. This work paves the way for a more unified architecture across visual understanding and generative modeling.

Vision-DeepResearch: Incentivizing DeepResearch Capability in Multimodal Large Language Models

arXiv:2601.22060v3 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) have achieved remarkable success across a broad range of vision tasks. However, constrained by the capacity of their internal world knowledge, prior work has proposed augmenting MLLMs by ``reasoning-then-tool-call'' for visual and textual search engines to obtain substantial gains on tasks requiring extensive factual information. However, these approaches typically define multimodal search in a naive setting, assuming that a single full-level or entity-level image query and few text query suffices to retrieve the key evidence needed to answer the question, which is unrealistic in real-world scenarios with substantial visual noise. Moreover, they are often limited in the reasoning depth and search breadth, making it difficult to solve complex questions that require aggregating evidence from diverse visual and textual sources. Building on this, we propose Vision-DeepResearch, which proposes one new multimodal deep-research paradigm, i.e., performs multi-turn, multi-entity and multi-scale visual and textual search to robustly hit real-world search engines under heavy noise. Our Vision-DeepResearch supports dozens of reasoning steps and hundreds of engine interactions, while internalizing deep-research capabilities into the MLLM via cold-start supervision and RL training, resulting in a strong end-to-end multimodal deep-research MLLM. It substantially outperforming existing multimodal deep-research MLLMs, and workflows built on strong closed-source foundation model such as GPT-5, Gemini-2.5-pro and Claude-4-Sonnet. The code will be released in https://github.com/Osilly/Vision-DeepResearch.
