CognitionCapturerPro: Towards High-Fidelity Visual Decoding from EEG/MEG via Multi-modal Information and Asymmetric Alignment

arXiv:2603.12722v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Visual stimuli reconstruction from EEG remains challenging due to fidelity loss and representation shift. We propose CognitionCapturerPro, an enhanced framework that integrates EEG with multi-modal priors (images, text, depth, and edges) via collaborative training. Our core contributions include an uncertainty-weighted similarity scoring mechanism to quantify modality-specific fidelity and a fusion encoder for integrating shared representations. By employing a simplified alignment module and a pre-trained diffusion model, our method significantly outperforms the original CognitionCapturer on the THINGS-EEG dataset, improving Top-1 and Top-5 retrieval accuracy by 25.9% and 10.6%, respectively. Code is available at: https://github.com/XiaoZhangYES/CognitionCapturerPro.

JAEGER: Joint 3D Audio-Visual Grounding and Reasoning in Simulated Physical Environments

arXiv:2602.18527v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Current audio-visual large language models (AV-LLMs) are predominantly restricted to 2D perception, relying on RGB video and monaural audio. This design choice introduces a fundamental dimensionality mismatch that precludes reliable source localization and spatial reasoning in complex 3D environments. We address this limitation by presenting JAEGER, a framework that extends AV-LLMs to 3D space, to enable joint spatial grounding and reasoning through the integration of RGB-D observations and multi-channel first-order ambisonics. A core contribution of our work is the neural intensity vector (Neural IV), a learned spatial audio representation that encodes robust directional cues to enhance direction-of-arrival estimation, even in adverse acoustic scenarios with overlapping sources. To facilitate large-scale training and systematic evaluation, we propose SpatialSceneQA, a benchmark of 61k instruction-tuning samples curated from simulated physical environments. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach consistently surpasses 2D-centric baselines across diverse spatial perception and reasoning tasks, underscoring the necessity of explicit 3D modelling for advancing AI in physical environments. Our source code, pre-trained model checkpoints and datasets will be released upon acceptance.

GenesisGeo: Technical Report

arXiv:2509.21896v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Recent neuro-symbolic geometry theorem provers have made significant progress on Euclidean problems by coupling neural guidance with symbolic verification. However, most existing systems operate almost exclusively in a symbolic space, leaving diagram-based intuition largely unused during reasoning. For humans, geometric diagrams provide essential heuristics for identifying non-trivial auxiliary constructions. Meanwhile, visual language models (VLMs) still struggle with geometry due to the lack of high-quality data with geometric diagrams and reasoning supervision. In this paper, we introduce GenesisGeo-1M, a large-scale synthetic dataset for visual geometric reasoning that contains 1M multimodal geometry problems paired with machine-checkable proof traces. Building on this dataset, we formulate geometric learning as a multi-task training paradigm that jointly optimizes text-based proof generation and diagram-grounded proof generation, encouraging models to learn visual grounding and symbolic deduction. Extensive experiments show that our GenesisGeo-2B model achieves gold-medal-level performance on Olympiad geometry benchmarks, solving 29/30 problems on IMO-30, 63/95 on IMO-95, and 278/409 on HAGeo-409.
