AffordTissue: Dense Affordance Prediction for Tool-Action Specific Tissue Interaction
arXiv:2604.01371v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Surgical action automation has progressed rapidly toward achieving surgeon-like dexterous control, driven primarily by advances in learning from demonstration and vision-language-action models. While these have demonstrated success in table-top experiments, translating them to clinical deployment remains challenging: current methods offer limited predictability on where instruments will interact on tissue surfaces and lack explicit conditioning

ABSTRACT
Glycolytic reprogramming is closely associated with the occurrence and progression of gastric cancer. Specifically, the energy derived from glucose metabolism and the cellular proteins by its intermediate products influence gastric cancer development. However, as an important branch of glucose metabolism, sialic acid metabolism and its mediated sialylation modifications remain insufficiently studied in gastric cancer, and their specific relationship with malignant tumor progression requires further exploration. This study employed a multi‑omics approach, integrating metabolomics, single‑cell RNA sequencing, and bulk RNA sequencing analyses, to investigate the metabolic landscape of gastric cancer and its associated alterations. The results indicated that sialic acid is a characteristic metabolite in malignant gastric cancer tissues. It modulates biological functions such as immune response, proliferative activity, and metabolic remodeling within gastric cancer tissues by influencing sialylation modifications. Furthermore, we identified the drug WZ35, which can inhibit the malignant proliferation of gastric cancer by targeting both sialic acid metabolism and sialylated protein modifications. We put forward a conjecture that the metabolism and modification of sialic acid promote the malignant development of gastric cancer, and we discovered that the drug WZ35 has an inhibitory effect on the sialic acid metabolism of gastric cancer.

Avoiding Over-smoothing in Social Media Rumor Detection with Pre-trained Propagation Tree Transformer
arXiv:2603.22854v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Deep learning techniques for rumor detection typically utilize Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) to analyze post relations. These methods, however, falter due to over-smoothing issues when processing rumor propagation structures, leading to declining performance. Our investigation into this issue reveals that over-smoothing is intrinsically tied to the structural characteristics of rumor propagation trees, in which the majority of nodes are 1-level n

Global Evolutionary Steering: Refining Activation Steering Control via Cross-Layer Consistency
arXiv:2603.12298v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Activation engineering enables precise control over Large Language Models (LLMs) without the computational cost of fine-tuning. However, existing methods deriving vectors from static activation differences are susceptible to high-dimensional noise and layer-wise semantic drift, often capturing spurious correlations rather than the target intent. To address this, we propose Global Evolutionary Refined Steering (GER-steer), a training-free framewo

arXiv:2603.13024v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: A surgical world model capable of generating realistic surgical action videos with precise control over tool-tissue interactions can address fundamental challenges in surgical AI and simulation -- from data scarcity and rare event synthesis to bridging the sim-to-real gap for surgical automation. However, current video generation methods, the very core of such surgical world models, require expensive annotations or complex structured intermediat

CMMR-VLN: Vision-and-Language Navigation via Continual Multimodal Memory Retrieval
arXiv:2603.07997v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Although large language models (LLMs) are introduced into vision-and-language navigation (VLN) to improve instruction comprehension and generalization, existing LLM- based VLN lacks the ability to selectively recall and use relevant priori experiences to help navigation tasks, limiting their performance in long-horizon and unfamiliar scenarios. In this work, we propose CMMR-VLN (Continual Multimodal Memory Retrieval based VLN), a VLN framework tha

OmniVideoBench: Towards Audio-Visual Understanding Evaluation for Omni MLLMs
arXiv:2510.10689v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Recent advances in multimodal large language models (MLLMs) have demonstrated substantial potential in video understanding. However, existing benchmarks fail to comprehensively evaluate synergistic reasoning capabilities across audio and visual modalities, often neglecting either one of the modalities or integrating them in a logically inconsistent manner. To bridge this gap, we introduce OmniVideoBench, a large-scale and rigorously designed b
