From Paper to Program: A Multi-Stage LLM-Assisted Workflow for Accelerating Quantum Many-Body Algorithm Development

arXiv:2604.04089v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Translating quantum many-body theory into scalable software traditionally requires months of effort. Zero-shot generation of tensor network algorithms by Large Language Models (LLMs) frequently fails due to spatial reasoning errors and memory bottlenecks. We resolve this using a multi-stage workflow that mimics a physics research group. By generating a mathematically rigorous LaTeX specification as an intermediate blueprint, we constrain the coding LLM to produce exact, matrix-free $\mathcal{O}(D^3)$ operations. We validate this approach by generating a Density-Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) engine that accurately captures the critical entanglement scaling of the Spin-$1/2$ Heisenberg model and the symmetry-protected topological (SPT) order of the Spin-$1$ AKLT model. Testing across 16 combinations of leading foundation models yielded a 100\% success rate. By compressing a months-long development cycle into under 24 hours ($\sim 14$ active hours), this framework offers a highly reproducible paradigm for accelerating computational physics research.

Neural-Quantum-States Impurity Solver for Quantum Embedding Problems

arXiv:2509.12431v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Neural quantum states (NQS) have emerged as a promising approach to solve second-quantized Hamiltonians, because of their scalability and flexibility. In this work, we design and benchmark an NQS impurity solver for the quantum embedding (QE) methods, focusing on the ghost Gutzwiller Approximation (gGA) framework. We introduce a graph transformer-based NQS framework able to represent arbitrarily connected impurity orbitals of the embedding Hamiltonian (EH) and develop an error control mechanism to stabilize iterative updates throughout the QE loops. We validate the accuracy of our approach with benchmark gGA calculations of the Anderson Lattice Model, yielding results in excellent agreement with the exact diagonalisation impurity solver. Finally, our analysis of the computational budget reveals the method's principal bottleneck to be the high-accuracy sampling of physical observables required by the embedding loop, rather than the NQS variational optimization, directly highlighting the critical need for more efficient inference techniques.

Large Electron Model: A Universal Ground State Predictor

arXiv:2603.02346v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: We introduce Large Electron Model, a single neural network model that produces variational wavefunctions of interacting electrons over the entire Hamiltonian parameter manifold. Our model employs the Fermi Sets architecture, a universal representation of many-body fermionic wavefunctions, which is further conditioned on Hamiltonian parameter and particle number. On interacting electrons in a two-dimensional harmonic potential, a single trained model accurately predicts the ground state wavefunction while generalizing across unseen coupling strengths and particle-number sectors, producing both accurate real-space charge densities and ground state energies, even up to $50$ particles. Our results establish a foundation model method for material discovery that is grounded in the variational principle, while accurately treating strong electron correlation beyond the capacity of density functional theory.
